Water service on Taylor Drive off Ellerbe Road, Rockingham, will be interrupted beginning at 8 a.m. today, the Richmond County Office of Community Services said.

Water will be turned off no earlier than 8 a.m. and will be restored as soon as possible.

The county will make every effort to limit the amount of time the service is interrupted.

It is suggested that a bathtub be filled to provide water during the time services are off.

To prevent the possibility of damage to a water heater, the hot water heater should be turned off at the circuit breaker until water service is restored. If the electrical panel uses fuses, remove the fuse.
