Dear Editor,

Former President Bush and current President Obama both stated publicly that Islam is a religion of peace. According to Walid Shoebat, a former Palestinian terrorist, this position is extremely dangerous. Walid has dedicated his life to waking up America to the truth about Islam in general and jihadism and Sharia law in particular.

In one of his latest books, God’s War on Terror, Mr. Shoebat states that Islam did not begin as a religion of peace and did not spread over vast areas of the planet by peaceful means. Today, Islamic fundamentalists are either using terrorist tactics or will use terrorist tactics when the mahdi (the Islamic equivalent of the Messiah) arrives. Walid learned from kindergarten, as most mid-east Muslim youths do, to hate Jews, Christians and Americans. Individual Muslim sects also hate certain other Muslim sects for religious reasons. Mr. Shoebat quotes verses from the Qur’an promoting the killing of those who will not submit to Qur’anic truth.

Walid, himself, was part of terrorist cells in the USA planning to wreak havoc on this country at the right time. While working with the Muslim Brotherhood and attending college in Chicago, Walid recruited American youth by deception into the Muslim movement. However, deception is legal for certain Muslims if used for the “right” reasons. He states that Muslim fundamentalists have infiltrated government, education, media, prisons and even the Christian religion. Their goals are to gain positions of influence and to indoctrinate converts.

Walid encourages the Christian churches to educate members about Islam. He also encourages love and support for Israel. He quotes Bible verses stating that God hates those who would try to divide Israel’s land and how God blesses those who help Israel.

Jay, as usual, your information exposes you as being duped along with many others in believing everything Walid says. Anderson Cooper's AC 360 (CNN) presented an expose in July, 2011 that debunked Walid as being a fraud. And yes Jay, I do consider Anderson Cooper nd CNN as being a much more factually accurate news source as compared to your sources (FOX News, National Enquirer, Star News, Glenn Beck, Michael Savage and on and on and on.
