On the resurrection

Dear Editor,

I write in response to the letter titled “Rejoice and be glad.”

This writer used Sunday as his worship day knowing that from Friday at dust to Sunday at dawn is about 36 hours, a day and a half. The Messiah said ‘I will be in the grave three days and nights’ in Yonah 1-17.

We read that the pagans in Ninevah repented at the preaching of Yonah and most Christians believe this and that he was in the fish three days and nights. Yet these same Christians refuse to accept the words of the Messiah.

I explained in a previous letter and began with the Messiah entering Yahushalahim on the first day in Matthew Chapter 21-10 and then he goes out in verse 17.

He comes back into the city in verse 18. From verse 17 on the second day to chapter 26 verse 2 completes two days. In chapter 26-2 he states that in two days he will be delivered and crucified.

This accounts for the first four days of Passover (Pesah in Hebrew) week. He cannot lie therefore he spent the next three days in the grave and comes out at the setting of the sun on the seventh day.

In Luke chapter 24-7 the women also said that he would rise the third day while at the empty grave.

I now refer all Christians to the Webster’s New College Dictionary to the word Sunday — Middle English Soneday — Old English Sunnandaeg, translation of Latin is Solis, day of the Sun, the first day of the week and the Christian Sabbath.

Solis means the sacred day of the Sun, not Son. The three day resurrection is my sign that I will be resurrected by the Hebrew Yahusha.
