Dear Editor,

The National Day of Prayer Committee is busy meeting and planning the events for this year’s observance.

The date is Thursday, May 3, and we will have our usual service at the Courthouse at 12 p.m. on that day. There will be songs, testimonies, Scripture reading and of course prayer. You are invited to come out and participate in honoring this Prayer Day Observance.

We will not be having an evening service; however, we invite everyone to come out to Raider Stadium at 6 p.m. on that same day, May 3, and we will be praying for the upcoming Go Tell Crusade.

This is a very special event that will take place September 16-19, 2012. We feel it is the responsibility of this Committee to pray for and encourage others to pray for the Crusade. There will be no formal program planned just people gather and pray over the Stadium which is where the Crusade will be held.

Please mark this date, May 3, on your calendar and come to support the importance of PRAYER. 12 p.m. Courthouse, 6 p.m. Raider Stadium.

Thank you for your support through the years and we look forward to seeing you this year. If you have any questions feel free to contact me.

God bless you.
