John Lee Siner, 80, of Rockingham, died Monday, April 16, 2012, at Richmond Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Hamlet.

Funeral services will be at 11 am Thursday, April 19, 2012 in the Colonial Chapel of Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham with Rev. Sharon Brooks officiating. Graveside services will be at 2:30 pm Thursday at Indian Branch Cemetery in Darlington, SC with Rev. Bruce Kimbrel officiating.

The family will see friends from 6 to 8 pm Wednesday at Carter Funeral Home and at other times at the Wainright home, 136 Patterson St., Rockingham.

John was born July 27, 1931 in Muskogee, Oklahoma a son of the late Barney and Lula Utley Siner. He was the operator of a lawn mower repair business. He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father Clyde Saunders, brother Richard Siner,and sister Betty Butler.

Surviving are his sister Barbara Wainright of Rockingham; brother, Claude Siner of Darlington, SC.
