Edna Lee Faircloth Long, 78, of Hoffman, died Sunday, January 25, 2009 at her residence.

Mrs. Long was born October 10, 1930 to the late Nathan Bastian Hughes and Lovie Olivia Johnson Hughes in Smithfield.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at the First Pentecostal Holiness Church of Aberdeen with the Rev. Horace Warwick officiating. Burial will follow in Blue’s Cemetery in Hoffman.

Mrs. Long is survived by her husband of six years, Robert Elwood Long of Hoffman; two sons, Rickey Lee Faircloth of Ellerbe, and Marshal Lynn Faircloth of Winston-Salem; two daughters, Sandra Marsh and Pansy Faircloth, both of Hoffman; a brother Emery Hughes; sister, Betty Gibbs; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at Boles Funeral Home in Pinehurst on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 from 7 to 9 p.m.
