Elijah Braxton Shepard celebrated his first birthday on Dec. 6 at Hinson Lake with a Jungle Buddies theme. The party was hosted by his parents, Beth Santana and Ernie Shepard.

Family and friends attending included grandparents, Sara Cowick, Maria and Clay Allen; Joey Santana, Ezzell, Sherry Shepard, Deanna Chavis, Crystal, Mike Davis, Terrie, Mike Bowman, Kim Puckett, Diane Brown, Dr. Nascimento, James Terrell, Idale, and Amy Simmons.

Elijah turned 1 on Dec. 5, 2008.
