John Calvin Brigman, 85, passed away on March 31, 2012, at his home in Jensen Beach, Fla.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 2, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Aycock Funeral Home in Jensen Beach, Fla.
Services are scheduled for Tuesday, April 3, 2012, at 10 a.m. Entombment will be at Fernhill Memorial Gardens in Stuart, Fla.
Mr. Brigman was born in Chesterfield, S.C., and was living in Jensen Beach since 1994 coming from Miami Springs, Fla.
Prior to retirement he was a Director of Administrative Services for Miami Dade Criminal Justice Council. He graduated from Newberry College and served in the United States Navy. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Jensen Beach, Fla.
Mr. Brigman is predeceased by his parents, John Jacob and Bertha Purvis Brigman; sisters Annie Brigman, Margie Parker, Elizabeth Teal and Betty Lou Vick; brothers Jimmy, Bruce, Wilson, Robert Lee, and Donald Gene.
Survivors include wife, Betty Brigman; son Chris Brigman of Homestead, Fla., and three grandsons.
