Mrs. Bettie Gulledge Boling, 70, died Monday, March 12, 2012, at Anson Community Hospital in Wadesboro.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 15 at Lilesville United Methodist Church with Rev. Norm Jones and Rev. Teddy Lawson officiating. Interment will follow in Lilesville Cemetery.

The family will greet friends Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Leavitt Funeral Home in Wadesboro and other times at the home.

Bettie was born in Anson County on Oct. 13, 1941, a daughter of the late John William and Beatrice Quick Gulledge. She was employed for 32 years with Martin Furniture Company in Wadesboro and was a life-long member of Lilesville United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her husband of 40 years, Randy Boling of the home; her children, Maria Allen of Rockingham, Angie Adams and Connie Knotts, both of Lilesville, and Tim Boling of Lexington; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her sister and brother, Patsy Jordan of Wadesboro and Vance Gulledge of Lilesville; and her sister-in-law, Nancy Gulledge of Lilesville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Gulledge.
