During the month from many of those courts, 26 defendants were taken from the Richmond County Jail to state prisons to begin serving time in incarceration there.
An average number of inmates remaining in the jail during the month was 81.
Deputies arrested suspects and charged them with 122 felonies and 153 misdemeanors. They served 19 domestic violence orders.
They investigated 49 break-ins and larcenies, and two armed robberies at a business.
Eleven motor vehicle drivers were issued speeding citations.
Services rendered included taking two people to mental health facilities, issuing 102 gun permits, conducting 33 funeral escorts, unlocking 75 vehicles, performing 10 security checks and 80 escorts from businesses to banks, and checking on 155 burglar alarms activated.
During the month, 257 criminal papers and 381 civil papers were served.
Calls from citizens requesting the services of a deputy were 1,356, and 12,255 people were searched in 20 days the courthouse was open.
