Jake Vuncannon and Lauren Cobler
Larry and Phyllis Cobler of Rockingham announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Lauren Denise Cobler of Rockingham to Jacob Lee Vuncannon, son of Jeff and Jill Vuncannon of Ellerbe.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Dixie Cobler and Richard and Norma Watson, all of Rockingham. She graduated from UNC-Pembroke with a bachelors degree in K-6 Elementary Education. She is a third grade teacher at Mineral Springs School.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Ethel Allen and Ed and Mary Vuncannon, all of Ellerbe. He is currently attending UNC-Pembroke and will graduate in December 2011 with a Business Management degree. He is employed with E.E. Vuncannon in Ellerbe.
Their wedding is planned for Dec. 10, 2011, at First Baptist Church in Rockingham.
