Mr. Michael Keith Idol, 48, of Hamlet, died, Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011, at his residence.
He was born in Richmond County on July 13, 1963, the son of James A. Idol and Margaret Gibson Idol.
He was a caregiver to his late grandmother, Alice Broom Gibson.
Visitation will be one hour prior to service, at 1 p.m., with a Memorial Service starting at 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 9, 2011, at Harrington Funeral Home Chapel.
Keith was preceded in death by his brother, Jamie Idol.
Survivors include his parents, James A. Idol and Margaret Gibson Idol of Hamlet; nieces, Jennifer and Breanna Idol of Rockingham; nephew, Jamie J. Idol of Hamlet; great niece, Kaitlyn Pressley; and great nephew, Tyler Pressley both of Rockingham.
Harrington Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the Idol family.
