Mrs. Angela Marie Whitley, 43, of 163 Stokes Road, Rockingham, died Wednesday July 13, 2011, at Rockingham Manor.
She was born Oct. 30, 1967, in New York to the late Beatrice Pittman.
Public viewing will be held Saturday, July 16, 2011, at McNeill Funeral Home chapel from 1 to 7 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 17, 2011, at 2:30 p.m. at Greater Diggs AME Zion Church with Rev. James Summers officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Surviving are two daughters, Angela Shields of Greensboro and Sharon Shields of Salisbury; two sons, Jerome Whitley of Wilmington and Ellis Whitley of Salisbury; six grandchildren; three sisters, Beverly Huggins and Jennifer Ingram of Rockingham and Cynthia Taylor of Hamlet; one brother, Ellis Pittman of Hamlet; and grandparents Leroy and Tenna Gould of Rockingham.
McNeill Funeral Home of Rockingham is in charge of the arrangements.
