Elaine Pickens Strawbridge McDonald (60) of Richmond County, NC died on Friday, July 8, 2011 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital. She was born April 25, 1951 to the late John Calvin Pickens, Sr. and Sara Pate.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at 1:00 p.m.-Providence Missionary Baptist Church with the Reverend Lamont Johnson, Pastor Interment will follow in the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church in Bennettsville, SC

She is survived husband, Charles McDonald; three children: Jason Strawbridge of Stafford, VA; Reynard Strawbridge of District Heights, MD; Gregory Strawbridge of Cumberland, MD;

Four step children: Galord McDonald of Rockingham; Melissa Graham of Rockingham, NC; Junior McDonald of Pittsboro, PA and Charles S. McDonald of Washington, DC. Twelve grandchildren:

Her mother, Mable Ingram of Rockingham, NC;

Six sisters: Voyner McDonald of Rockingham, NC; Paulette Pickens of Greensboro, NC; Teresa Little of Rockingham, NC; Diane Pate of Bennettsville, SC; Debra Gilmore of Jacksonville, Fl and Tabitha Bass of Washington, DC.
