Mrs. Blanche Bennett Rogers, 82, of 377 County Home Road, Rockingham, died on Sunday, July 3, 2011, at First Health Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
She was born in Scotland County, a daughter of Henry Bennett and Mary Hicks Bennett.
Mrs. Rogers was a member of Jefferson Park Free Will Baptist Church and previously worked for Wood’s Department Store.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 6, 2011, at Harrington Funeral Home from 6 - 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be Thursday, July 7, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Harrington Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roger Webster, Rev. Ray Cribb and Rev. Larry Singletary officiating. Burial will follow at Richmond Memorial Park, Rockingham.
She is preceded in death by her late husband, Thomas James Rogers.
Survivors include her brother, Clyde Henry Bennett of Laurinburg; and five sisters, Lucy Jones of Bennettsville, S.C., Ruby Hatcher of Laurinburg, Gertrude Triplett of Rockingham, Rachel Smith of Laurel Hill and Cynthia Freeman of Cheraw, S.C.
