Mr. and Mrs. Barry Craven of Ellerbe proudly announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie Michelle Craven to Wesley Clyde Webster, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Webster of Hamlet.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Thomas W. Beck and the late Brenda Beck of Rockingham and Mr. and Mrs. William Black of Ellerbe.
Katie is a 2006 graduate of Richmond Senior High School and a recent graduate of North Carolina State University. It was there she received her B.S. in Meteorology and is currently seeking a M.S. in Environmental Assessment. She is presently employed as a Meteorological Analyst at CyberData Technologies and works with the National Weather Service in Sterling, Va.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Robert Webster and Maryanne Webster of Hamlet and John Cantrell and the late Sandra Kay Cantrell of Chensee, S.C.
Wesley is a 2006 graduate of Richmond Senior High School and will graduate in May 2011 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University. He will then be employed by Southland Industries in Dulles, Va., as a Project Engineer.
Their wedding will be held on June 4, 2011, at Chapel in the Pines in Seven Lakes.
