Johnny Kirby
Mr. Lloyd Eugene “Johnny” Kirby, 64, of 127 Mill St., Rockingham, died Friday, April 8, 2011, in his home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 10, 2011, in the Mausoleum at Richmond County Memorial Park with Rev. Mitchell Roller officiating. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum.
Mr. Kirby was born in Lumberton on May 11, 1946, a son of Lloyd B. and Elnita Grant Kirby. He was a truck driver and had operated several area businesses. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Angie Snead and Courtney Kirby.
He is survived by a son, Ryan Kirby of the home; a daughter, Audrey Lee of Rockingham; his mother, Elnita Kirby of the home; two sisters, Patricia Feeney of Sumter, S.C., Gail Johnson of the home; his former wife, Victoria Kirby of the home; seven grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3- 4 p.m. at the mausoleum, and at other times at 127 Mill St., Rockingham.
