John Irvin Kester II was born Feb. 25, 2011, at Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg. He weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces and was 21 inches long. His parents are Donna V. Jackson and John I. Kester Sr. of Rockingham. His maternal grandparents are Nancy Huston of Lima, Ohio and Charles T. Jackson, Esq. of South San Fransisco, California. The paternal grandparents are the late Alice Lenora and Joseph Rexall (Rex) Kester Sr. of Rockingham.
