She was born Sept. 5, 1937, in Robeson County, daughter of Voyt Anderson Jacobs and Allie Lee Mancy Lowery Jacobs.
Mrs. Thompson worked previously, for several years, at Pinehurst Neurology, and was a member of Second Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2011, at Second Baptist Church from 6 -8 p.m.
Funeral Service will be Thursday, Feb. 24, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Second Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Hawks officiating. Burial will follow at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Goins of Salisbury; sons, Mark Thompson and Donnie Warling both of Rockingham; brothers, Rev. Bud Jacobs , Lanny Jacobs, Dennis Jacobs, and Rev. Ricky Jacobs, all of Rockingham; sisters, Myra Greene, Merita Davis and Oveter Maree all of Rockingham and Shelia Eubanks of Mobile, Alabama; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
