Fatz Cafe will be the first to host the event on Feb. 8 which will be from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. Business Before Hours will be held in February, May, August and November.
Chamber Vice Chairman Terry Greene said this he has seen this become a successful event in other communities.
”This is for those that can’t make it to the Business After Hours,” he said. “This is also a great opportunity for us to reach our newest members and bring in more and they can feel free to bring a guest.”
Another addition in the new year is the COC is giving members an opportunity to receive top-notch education from experts without travel expense or the high cost of most training seminars and workshops.
The chamber has joined forces with Business Training Team to help you grow your business, improve office software skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), learn QuickBooks, provide customer service training for employees, launch your mail marketing campaign successfully, understand local internet marketing, get involved in social media marketing and learn strategies for traffic to your website.
President Emily Tucker said this new training portal also brings you training from your local Small Business Center.
“These are courses that will help you grow your business in the coming year,” she said.
