Mr. Richard Lee Greene, 53, 509 Mill St., Biscoe, died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2010, at his residence.

He was born Dec. 6, 1957, in Montgomery County, son of Charles Franklin Greene and Patricia Klass Greene.

Mr. Greene was a self employed construction worker.

The family will receive friends at the home of his in-laws, Buddy and Peggy Andrews, 871 Battley Dairy Road, Rockingham.

The memorial service will be private.

He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Brenda Sue Greene.

Survivors include his wife, Sherry Andrews Greene of the home; mother, Patricia Klass Greene of Star; sons, Joshua Adam Greene and Derrick Sparks both of the home and Charles Sparks of Rockingham; brothers, Larry Greene of Robbins, James Greene of Shallotte and Tracy Greene of Star; sisters, Barbara Blakley of Thomasville and Sylvia Puckett of Virginia; and one grandchild.

Harrington Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the Greene family.
