Mr. Anthony Edward Hamilton, 45, of 136 Mary Evans Road Rockingham died Sunday December 28, 2008 at FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital.

He was born Jan. 31, 1963 in Richmond County to Helen and late Eugene Hamilton.

Funeral service will be held Friday Jan. 2, 2009 at 4 p.m. at McNeill funeral home chapel with Rev. Robert E. McCall officiating.

He was preceded in death by his father Eugene Hamilton and two brothers; Charlie E. Hamilton and Ronnie Hamilton.

Surviving are his mother Helen Hamilton of the home; Four sons Anthony E. Hamilton Jr., Jonathon E. Hamilton, Edrece Euburgess and SaCori Hamilton; Seven sisters Francinor Hamilton of New York, NY, Mary Ingram of Charleston, West Virginia, Betty Hamilton of Rockingham, Jessie Rush of High Point, NC, Mary Pope of Atlanta, GA, Barbara Little and Linda McLean of Fayetteville, NC, two brother Charles Covington of Rockingham, NC and Kenneth Ellerbe of Georgetown, SC.

Public viewing will be held Friday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at McNeill Funeral Home Chapel.

McNeill Funeral Home of Rockingham is in charge of the arrangements.
