Sherry Anne Maske of 209 S. Randolph St. in Rockingham left us the morning of Nov. 17, 2010.  A dedicated teacher, irreplaceable member of her community, and cherished aunt. Her wit inimitable, and her kindness easy and abundant, she will be sorely missed.

Miss Maske is survived by her niece, Anne Tyson of Rockingham; and nephews Archie Tyson and wife Christina of Cary; Jonathan Cashwell and wife Nichole and Joel Cashwell and wife Samantha, all of N. Myrtle Beach, S.C. 

Miss Maske was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Ellen Cooper Maske; and siblings, Linda Maske Cashwell, Joseph Cooper Maske, Harold Hampton Maske Jr., and Carol Maske Tyson.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010, at First Baptist Church in Rockingham with Dr. Jim Nelson officiating. Interment will follow in Eastside cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Watson-King Funeral Home in Rockingham.

To the family of Miss Maske, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Miss Maske was my 10th and 11th grade English teacher. She truly was a sweet woman and will surely be missed by many.
