JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Mr. Earnest Fonnie Ivey, 89, died Nov. 9, 2010. He was born May 8, 1921 in Bishop County, Ga. and moved to Winter Haven, Fla. in 1946. Mr. Ivey served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and retired from General Foods.

 He is survived by his wife, Maxine Smith Ivey; a son, Raymond Ivey; a daughter, Diane Blythe; 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

 Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 15, 2010, in the chapel of Watson-King Funeral Home in Hamlet with Rev. Steve Crews officiating. Interment will follow in the Church of God of Prophecy church cemetery with military honors.

 The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
