Mrs. Dixon, widow of Willard Dixon, died Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010. Born in Darlington Co., SC, she was a daughter of the late Murdick and Addie Mae Hicks Gainey. Surviving are her sons, Robert Dixon of Hartsville, SC, Willard Mark (Kay) Dixon of Hamlet, NC; daughter, Marguerite (Wilbur) Hall of Cheraw, SC; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Charles Williams Dixon; sister, Letha McGugan; brother, Junior Gainey.
