ROCKINGHAM — A man is accused of walking into a retail store and walking out with the same merchandise two days in a row.

According to an arrest warrant, 23-year-old Matthew Dale Knight of Cox Street, Rockingham, went into Lowe’s on May 8 and 9, stealing a DeWalt five-tool combo kit each day.

The kits are valued at $549 each.

An arrest warrant for Knight was issued May 15.

Knight was arrested Tuesday, charged with two counts of misdemeanor larceny and jailed under a $500 secured bond.

Online court records show he has no other pending charges in the state.
