Three place in Hoke Co. tournament
RAEFORD — Three members of the Raider Amateur Wrestling Club competed and placed in the All-American wrestling tournament that was held at Hoke County High School this past weekend.
Tre Isaac (103 lbs) finished second in the 10-under division, Derek Hefferan (80 lbs) placed fourth in the 10-under division and Reggie Caswell (75 lbs) came in fourth in the 8-under division.
“We are looking for this club to serve as a feeder program for our high school team, as we do not have middle school wrestling in Richmond County,” coach Earl Nicholson said earlier this month. “I want improve the level of wrestling so that the athletes in Richmond County will have more scholarship opportunities other than the major sports.”
