ROCKINGHAM — Results and standings from the Richmond County Bowling Association’s winter leagues are as follows:

Earl Dunn League (Tuesday night) — Feb. 2

Jerry Lamont rolled the male high scratch game with a 236 and the male high scratch series of 629 followed by Nelson Williams for a 235 high scratch game, with Robert Ingram rounding out third place with a high scratch game of 232. Arthur Cole recorded a 619 high scratch series for second and Neil Haygood rounded out the third-place series with a 609.

For the women, Deloris Mills had both the high game and high series scratch with a 173 and a 496 followed by Lisa Hudson with a 139 game and a 352 series.

The Sports Connection team remains in first with a 52.5-27.5 record. Richmond Rollers remained in second place with a 46.5-33.5. Eliminators moved into third at 42.5-37.5. Sleepers dropped to fourth at the 41.5-38.5 mark, followed by the Four Horsemen for fifth place with a 39-41 record.

Afternoon Delights League (Wednesday afternoon) — Feb. 3

Neil Haygood notched the high game scratch and high game series with 233 and a 627. Cliff Broady posted a 224 and 524 for second place. Gerry Melton rounded out third place with a 206 game. Raymond Collins had a 517 to round out the series.

For the women, Velma Gibson had the high game scratch and high game series with a 211 and a 540. Hazel Haygood was next with a 161 game and 444 series. Hazel Smith had a 146 game followed by Betty Trueblood with a 419 series.

Fuel & Fire and Castaways posted in first place with a 39.5-28.5 mark. Zoned-in has moved into third with 37.5-30.5. The Gamers moved into fourth with a 35-33. The Pin Busters and The Who also landed in fifth place with 33.5-34.5 record. Hit & Miss and Alley Cats rounded out the lineup together with a 27-41 record.

Hubert Gibson League (Thursday night) — Feb. 4

Corey Willett posted the high game scratch and high scratch series with a 244 and 633. Mike Snead had a high game scratch for second place with 228, followed by David Carr with a 226 game. Dewey Guinn rolled a 608 high series followed by Josh Ludlum for a 584 series.

Knucklepins and Jeff’s Trophies recorded a 44-32 for the week. Beer Goggles also remained in third at 38-38 just ahead of Striker’s with a 35.5-40.5. Pocket Pounders moved up one at 34-42 followed by Godfather’s Pizza 33.5-43.5 to round out the standings.
