A local boy will now see his drawing on the uniforms of one first responder agency and on the trucks of another in Rockingham. The Rockingham Farmers Market will open for the 2013 season on April 27 on Harrington Square in Rockingham. The U.S. Senate has unanimously passed a resolution designating April 18, 2013, as National Lineman Appreciation Day. The bill, introduced last week by Sens. Jeff Moore and Rodney Honeycutt of Git-R-Done Garage didn’t know they’d catch a massive catfish when they left their shop Thursday morning around 8:30 a.m. By noon, Moore and Honeycutt were hauling a 78-pound blue catfish onto their boat. “We caught him on a noodle with shad,” said Honeycutt. “We caught a nice one.
