‘Anne of Green Gables’ to be staged
The cast of Encore! Theatre’s latest production is currently preparing to bring the story of “Anne of Green Gables” to the stage in Laurinburg. They will perform Peter Delaurier’s adaptation of L.M. Montgomery’s 1908 novel, the story of an orphan girl adopted by a single man and his spinster sister on Canada’s Prince Edward Island. Former Cleveland Indian to speak in Rockingham church
Each year the Philadelphia community celebrates Black History Month by inviting a guest speaker back to the community to speak about their success.
