Man dies from gunshot wound
A Wadesboro man died from a gunshot wound to the chest Monday evening, according to Hamlet Police Chief Amery Griffin. Jermaine LaJohn Lindsey, 34, was shot outside an apartment building in Hamlet at 3:50 p.m., in a yard on the 500 block of Henderson Street, according to police. Laniqua Deshawn Kelly, 19, of Ruby, S.C., is the man accused of the shooting and has been charged with murder, Griffin said. Kelly was picked up at a residence ...
