Hamlet gets a makeover
The City of Hamlet got a new look on Saturday thanks to CSX and City Year. About 90 volunteers helped build picnic tables, benches and garden boxes for the city. The volunteers also painted murals, including a mural at the local ball park, painted the caboose located at the entrance of the park and landscaped the area around the Hamlet City Lake.
