Students from Washington Street Elementary School toured the past Thursday, starting with the Bostick Schoolhouse on Clayton Carriker Road. Ken Bostick’s third grade class toured the one-room, historic schoolhouse and learned what students’ school days were like from 1880 until 1922. The Business Expo was a huge success with more than 55 vendors drawing a crowd of more than 400 visitors this week to the Robert L. and Elizabeth S. Cole Auditorium and Community Center in Hamlet. Men’s group to hold BBQ on Saturday
The Millstone Men of the Church will hold their annual barbecue Saturday, April 20, at the Millstone Community Building off Gibson Nursery Road in Ellerbe.
