The regular monthly meeting of Richmond County Board of Commissioners, which normally takes place on the first Monday of every month at 5:30 p.m., has been postponed to the following Monday for its April meeting.
The board will meet on April 8, at 5:30 p.m. on the second floor of the County Administration building in the Commissioners’ Chambers, at 221 S. Hancock St. in Rockingham.
The meeting has been postponed to accommodate Easter travel plans.
Richmond County government offices will be closed for Good Friday, March 29. Richmond County compactor sites will be closed both Friday and Sunday. On Saturday they will be open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Richmond County Landfill will be closed on Friday, and on Saturday will be open from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.
