Weapons found at school today
by Staff Report
A weapon was found on the campus of Richmond County Transitional School Wednesday morning, school officials disclosed in a brief news release at about 5:20 p.m. “School administrators received information that led to the discovery of a weapon on the school campus this morning,” said Richmond County Schools Superintendent George E. Norris, in a prepared statement. “Once the weapons were discovered, the matter was turned over to the School Resource Officer and criminal charges have been filed against the student.” School officials said they are not able to comment on any disciplinary action taken with the student. The Richmond County Transitional School is located at 377 Mizpah Road, south of Rockingham, and shares a campus with Leak Street High School. According to school system officials, the school resource officer at Richmond County Transitional School will be handling the case. No further information was made available by press time. Thats because they think they have a certain status to uphold. LJ Bell is a huge joke! I send my children another local just because of all the favortism that one school shows and I live in district. LJ stands for Lying Joke. People lye to get to go there and then find out its a joke.

Amazing how guns can be found at the transitional school and it's in the paper hours later, yet a gun brought to L.J. Bell a month ago is yet to appear
