An elderly Rockingham man, with special medical needs, has been missing for several days, according to the Rockingham Police Department.
In a press release today, police provided information about Howard Eugene Willard, 72 , of Rockingham, and a photograph of the man.
A missing persons report was made about Willard to the department on May 9, according to Det. Sgt. Donavan Young, Public Information Officer.
Willard is a white male, approximately 5-feet, 6-inches tall, weighing approximately 210 pounds. He does have health problems including the need for a portable oxygen tank, Young said.
According to police, Willard was last seen on Mill Road in Rockingham near Joe’s Towing. He was wearing a grey flannel shirt, blue jeans, a hat with a Nike emblem on it, and boots.
Willard could have possibly traveled to Randolph County, N.C., or to Charleston S.C., according to police. There is no vehicle description available.
