Perhaps you’ve seen large containers with cows painted on them either parked beside someone’s house or on the lot of Tony Martin at Martin Mini Storage and Rentals in Rockingham on Fayetteville Road.

COWs - Container on Wheels, a growing mobile storage company, opened its second location in North Carolina at the beginning of this year. COWs will be partnering with Martin Mini Storage and Rentals in Rockingham to bring mobile storage containers to Richmond County and the surrounding areas.

“I’m excited to add COWs mobile storage containers to my list of services,” said Martin. “There are so many ways these containers can help people with their moving and storage needs. They will be a great addition to my self-storage facility.”

Martin Mini Storage and Rentals has been providing moving and storage services in the Richmond County area for more than 20 years. Martin offers two convenient self-storage facilities as well as truck and trailer rentals and outside boat/R.V. storage. With their new COWs Dealership they will begin offering 8-foot and 16-foot COWs mobile storage containers for rental.

“Tony Martin and the folks at Martin Mini Storage have been a pleasure to work with and will be great ambassadors for the COWs brand,” said David Nathan, General Manager of COWs. “We’re looking forward to growing together and expanding their dealership throughout the Sandhills region.”

According to Nathan, Martin has one of two COWs dealerships in North Carolina. In an interview with the Daily Journal, Nathan said COWs’ popularity ramps up during the summer months.

“This time of year people sell their houses,” said Nathan. “We have a home storage service. You can use the COWs for de-cluttering, and the house usually sells faster. We’ve seen houses that have used COWs to de-clutter sell in 30 days.”

Martin said COWs beat out the U-Haul service because you have to rent a truck from the company, load it, move it and you only get the truck for a limited amount of time, not to mention the cost of gas.

“With the COWs, we bring it to your house. To move it there is less cost involved and you’re not pushed for time,” said Martin. “It locks, too. It’s a cool thing. It’s made for a lot of purposes and it has rails inside so you can tie things down.”

The COWs are each uniquely painted with black and white patches and faces, and Martin even has his face on one of them.

Mobile storage containers have a variety of uses ranging from on-site storage during a home staging or remodeling project to moving across town. Customers that are interested in learning more about COWs mobile storage containers can call 866-GET-A-COW or visit COWs on the web at www.866-get-a-cow.com.
