The Chamber’s 8th Annual Golf Scramble will be held at The Bluff Golf Course on Friday, May 10. This year’s golf committee is headed up by board member Rodger Moore of K2 Solutions Inc. His committee has been working hard to plan a great event for chamber members.

According to Moore, the Gold Scramble has been in the works since December.

“The Chamber does this event every year,” said Moore. “This is our big fundraiser. We’re hoping for about 100 players. It’s a good time to get together.”

Moore said he is looking forward to playing golf at The Bluff, where he has not been before. Although the club is located across the county line in Moore County’s Pinebluff area, the club has around 200 members from Richmond County that joined after Richmond Pines Country Club closed. The Bluff is also one of the Chamber’s newest members.

“The Chamber would love to promote your company’s products and services to the area’s business leaders by asking you to become a sponsor for this year’s event,” said Emily Tucker, Chamber president.

Hole sponsorships are $100 and will include a sign with your company’s logo and/or business name prominently displayed on a hole during the tournament. Sponsor a hole and team of four for $355. For additional sponsorship opportunities, contact the Chamber.

All proceeds go toward keeping The Richmond County Chamber of Commerce running at its existing level of community involvement, allowing the Chamber to continue supporting local businesses with their growth and prosperity. The Richmond County Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit organization.
