Wesley Lammonds, 72, of 575 E. Washington St., Rockingham, died, Monday, Dec. 10, 2012, at FirstHealth Richmond Memorial.

A memorial Service will be held Thursday, Dec. 13, at 4 p.m. at Joy Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. June Grant, Rev. Royce Honeycutt, Rev. Mike Childers and Rev. Randy Brooks officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Lowery home, 575 E. Washington St. Rockingham, Wednesday, Dec. 12, from 7 to 9 p.m.

Lammonds was born June 29, 1940, in Richmond County son of Josh Lammonds and Lillie Miller Lammonds.

He is survived by two daughters, Sharon L. Brooks of Laurinburg, and Karen L. Lowery of Rockingham; brothers, Lester Lammonds of Rockingham, Robert Lammonds of Monroe, and Leroy Lammonds of Hamlet; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
