Do you struggle in your business with trying to find the time to keep track of your people, coach individuals and hold people accountable? If so, then the seminar coming to the Cole Auditorium on March 20 maybe be worth checking out.
Titled, “Who Has Time To Manage People. I’m Trying to Run A Business,” this seminar, which will be held from 9 a.m. until noon, is designed to show leaders, staff and professionals the secrets of managing people while still managing a business.
The speaker, John Formica, calls himself an “Ex-Disney Guy” and is a nationally known speaker, business consultant and author of the top selling book, “Making the Customer Experience Magical Now!-How to Succeed in Business and Beat Out Your Competition Today.” Formica has become a leading authority in tourism, hospitality and service industries. He has delivered more than 1,000 presentations, keynotes and seminars for numerous industries, organizations, associations, conferences, business professionals and students throughout the United States.
The “Ex-Disney Guy” is so named because, for 10 years, Formica managed top resort properties and implemented Disney’s philosophy on creating superior customer experience and people management at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Fla.
The seminar will teach attendees how to stop babysitting employees, how to gain back time to do the most important thing in the business, why employees don’t perform and how to fix it, four easy tips to help delegate with results and the one secret Disney uses to gain employee commitment and an ownership mentality.
Seats are limited, so pre-registering no later than March 19 at 3 p.m. is recommended. Although pre-registration is preferred, it is not required. The seminar is free but, there is a $5 refreshment fee for anyone wishing to eat the lunch that will be provided.
