Rockingham High School class of 1943
Oct. 27, 2012, the Rockingham High School Class of 1943 held its 69th reunion with a luncheon at #1 Diner, Rockingham, with 10 members present. There were 87 in the 1943 graduating class and 23 are still living.
Those attending were: front row, left to right; Ruby Boyette Speight, Evelyn Diggs Hawkins, Iris Hayes McDonald and Juanita Martin McQueen. Back row, left to right; Anna Louise Meacham Bailey, Sarah Allen Crouch, Sara Margaret Brown White, Rev. Earl Ussery, Dean Sherill, and George LeVander.
