Edward Junior Douglas, 88, of 140 Earle Franklin Drive, Dobbins Heights, died on Oct. 17, 2012, at his home.
His funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, at St. Mary’s Holiness Church, Dobbins Heights. Elder David Douglas will be the eulogist.
The wake will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, at St. Mary Holiness Church.
Douglas is preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Adlace Douglas.
Survivors include four sons, Edward Douglas, Shelton Douglas, Curtis Douglas all of Hamlet, Elder David Douglas of Wadesboro, seven daughters, Melinda Wall, Hamlet, Angela Douglas of the home, Helen Robinson, Gladys Bennett of Hamlet, Tammy Mitchell of Aberdeen, Brenda McAllister of Dothan, Ala., and Wanda Douglas of Hamlet.
Nelson Funeral Home is serving the family.
