Reverse Alzheimer's? The Government of the United States has said “no' when it come to reversing this illness, this is a fact that has been voiced by a top government neuro-scientist. The main obstacle has to do with money and this may amaze the millions of families that have to live with this illness. To reverse Alzheimer's disease is a goal of many who live with the illness but sadly people are waiting for the next big superstar pill to stop the illness, this may be the wrong approach.

Whats does money have to do with it?

When House Representative Michelle Bachman admitted that the reversal of the illness was available but the Government would not pursue this right now it raised a few eyebrows, she was upset that the Government had chosen not to follow through and rid us of this illness. She was quoted “ "We could have a cure for Alzheimer's in 10 years if we'd only put our mind to it," (Actually the cure is available now)She went on to say Government red tape has tied up the cure. She was partially correct but what is clear from the very scientist who researched the illness is that a cure is on hold. To reverse Alzheimer's disease is not a priority right now even though they have the answer.

The Truth

"The only thing keeping us from developing successful treatments for Alzheimer's disease is the lack of adequate funding for research from NIH and other federal agencies," said Robert A. Stern, a neurologist and neurosurgeon, as well as a director of the Alzheimer's Disease Center at the Boston University School of Medicine.

"That has nothing to do with her naive and scary statements. It only has to do with Congress deciding that it is worth spending money on."

To reverse Alzheimer's disease is here but no one wants to pay for it.

Researchers in Europe showed that a natural “targeted brain diet” did reverse much of Alzheimer's disease and Dementia but the diet was not promoted because the pharmaceutical companies could not make a drug from it. The diet is natural so people would have to find it on their own without the drug-makers helping them, the Government also decided not to pursue this
