I just walked out of the Daily Journal office when an elderly gentleman tried to walk across the street on the crosswalk. One car and one truck just came on around and another car started to come on by.
If you have a driver's license you're supposed to know the law. Let the pedestrian cross while you wait.
One of the drivers was too busy talking on her cellphone.
People need to slow down a little and obey the law.
Heck, they could even pay a bounty for each old person you run over, kinda like they did way back for buffalo and wolves, might be a good way to get some stimulus money.
I find this actually to be quite hysterical myself.Just because the fact that the daily journal office is fairly close to the police department.one would think that they'd keep and eye out for things such as speeding and talking on cellphones while driving are very hazardous.
A law should be passed but it probably wont be anytime in the near future.
