Willie H. Parker, 67, of Norman, formerly of Fayetteville, passed away July 21, 2012, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 28 at Piney Grove Church in Jackson Springs with the Rev. Robert McArthur officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday from 1 to 8 p.m. at McLendon Funeral Home.
Mr. Parker was born Jan. 5, 1945, in Richmond County, son of the late Fletcher Parker and Mazie Lindsey Parker. He was employed as a security guard at the University of Fayetteville.
Survivors include three sisters, Yvonne Adlen, Patricia Short and Merline Garden, all of Rochester, N.Y.; and brother Vernon Little of Goldsboro.
McLendon Funeral Home is serving the family.
