William Stanford “Bill” Hartgrove, Jr., 67, of Raleigh, passed away on September 25, 2012 at Rex Hospital. Mr. Hartgrove was born on November 9, 1944 to the late William Stanford Hartgrove, Sr. & Evern Morgan Entwistle in Richmond County, NC. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him.
A memorial service will be held at 2 o’clock, Friday afternoon, September 28, 2012 at Forest Hills Baptist Church, 201 Dixie Trail, Raleigh, NC 27607.
Mr. Hartgrove is survived by his wife of 28 years, Dianne Atkins Hartgrove; children, Katie Russell & husband Dwayne of Rockingham, Will Hartgrove of Kansas and Dee Liggins & husband Randy of Raleigh; siblings, Linda Penuel & husband Bill of Rockingham, Faith Hamlin of Lexington, Ray Entwistle & wife Bonnie of Rockingham and John Hartgrove & wife Betty of Charleston, SC; grandchildren, Jordan Liggins of Raleigh, Eli Russell of Rockingham, Hayden Liggins of Raleigh, Kimberly Hartgrove & Leo Hartgrove of Germany.
The family would like to express a special thank you to Dr. Anant Soni for the exceptional care he showed Mr. Hartgrove in his time of need.
Friends may visit with the family following the service at the church and all other times at the home of Randy & Dee Liggins, 12 Dixie Trail, Raleigh, NC 27607.
