Keep in mind the Miranda rights (warning) used by law enforcement:

“Anything you say or do may be used against you …”

All the electronic communicating “toys” used today can be “dangerous” to one’s persona. If you pay attention to news reports, that should be obvious. There is no longer a great sense of “privacy.” We need to realize that while Big Brother may be watching us in certain circumstances, everyone else in the world is watching us on various communication devices at all times.

For example, we never know when someone has a camera phone pointed our way. Self consciousness should be heightened among all of us. No more so than with young people. Young lives have already been ruined, some fatally, because of this new medium. What may be fun today may endanger an attempt to live a responsible life later if someone discovers a youthful indiscretion that could disqualify one for a better position in life.

It used to be that we were warned that God was watching us, and we would be held accountable one day at the Pearly Gates of Heaven. Today, God is not only watching but so is everyone else, and we will be held accountable right here on Earth first.
