Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 25, 2009 at 3 p.m. at St. Margret Bible P.H. Church, Laurinburg with Elder Mitchell Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Philadelphia UMC Cemetery, Rockingham.
The family will receive friends Friday, April 24, 2009 from 6-7 p.m. at McPhatter Funeral Home in Laurel Hill.
Surviving are three sons, Glenwood Smith of NJ, Earl Brown of Laurinburg, and Gene Currie of NJ; three daughters, Mae Frances Smith Felder of Hamlet, Myrtle Smith of Laurinburg and Gracie Murphy of Pittsburgh, PA; and one sister, Dorothy Short of Bronx, NY.
