Edward and Patricia VunCannon, of Clemmons, announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie Elizabeth VunCannon to Joshua Brenner Norton, son of Peter and Cynthia Norton of Browns Summit.
Miss VunCannon’s grandparents are Mildred Glidewell and the late Robert Stewart; Ed and Mary VunCannon, and the late Elga Mae VunCannon, all of Ellerbe. She graduated from North Carolina State University with a degree in Textile and Apparel Management with a Concentration in Fashion Design. She is employed by Kayser-Roth Corporation in Burlington as a Technical Designer-Technical Services Analyst.
Mr. Norton’s grandparents are Leo and Imogene Spears and the late Francis and Rachel Norton all of Browns Summit. He graduated from North Carolina State University with a degree in Construction Engineering and Management. He is employed with Division Eight in Greensboro as a Project Manager.
A wedding is planned for May 19, 2012, at Dennis Vineyards in Albemarle.
