Since the Vista’s registry contains the configuration for software and hardware devices, it is likely to become full of outdated entries. To resolve this, it is necessary to clean up Vista’s registry.

Ø For this vista registry tweaks, hit first the Start button.
Ø Next, type in “Regedit” in the search box and then press enter.
Ø After that, press on “Ctrl” “F” on the keyboard.
Ø In the search box, type in the software application which is no longer used.

Ø Press down “F3” in order to search for more keys with the same name. Typically, there would be several for each application needed to delete

Ø In this vista registry tweaks, download and install CCleaner then open the program
Ø Hit the “Registry” icon
Ø Hit the “Scan for Issues” button located at the bottom and wait for the scan to finish
Ø After completing the scan, hit “Fix selected issues” then backup the registry
Ø Finally, hit the “Fix all selected issues” when done with the backup and then hit “OK” to clean the registry
